WARRANTY STATEMENT
1. Warranty Coverage Duration
1.1. All products and workmanship provided by JJ Auto Service & Tires ( “the Company”) are covered by a warranty for a period of 5 years or 50,000 miles, commencing from the date of installation, unless an alternative warranty period is explicitly indicated in this disclaimer or specified on the repair invoice.
1.1.2. To maintain the 5-year warranty, the vehicle must return to the facility once every 12 months for a complimentary annual re-check for the duration of the warranty period. Failure to do so will reduce the warranty coverage to 2 years or 24,000 miles.
1.2. Unless otherwise specified, all parts supplied by the Company are considered new or remanufactured.
1.3. Batteries fall under the following warranty categories:
1.3.1. Gold or AGM class batteries are warranted for a maximum period of 3 years, parts only.
1.3.2. Silver class batteries are warranted for a period of 2 years, parts only.
1.4. Tire warranties are subject to the manufacturer’s defect warranty and do not include any implied hazard warranty unless road hazard (RH) protection is separately purchased. In the absence of RH protection, no warranty coverage is provided for hazard events.
1.5. Engine, Transmission, Transfer Case & Differential warranties are determined by the original manufacturer’s warranty terms, when the product is new or remanufactured. They will not be covered for 5 years or 50,000 miles.
1.6. Used Parts come with a standard warranty of 6 months, covering parts only. Customers have the option to purchase Platinum Coverage to extend the warranty to 3 years, including both parts and labor coverage. Platinum Labor warranty for used parts shall not exceed a rate of $75 per billed hour. Any additional costs incurred beyond this limit are the responsibility of the customer. Unless the Platinum Labor Warranty is explicitly indicated on the repair invoice, the standard warranty is active. Used parts are not covered for 5 years or 50,000 miles.
2. Authorization for Contact
2.1. The undersigned hereby authorizes JJ Auto – Service & Tires and its authorized agents to contact them regarding the products and services provided, through phone calls, text messages (SMS or MMS), or email, for the purposes of communication related to the warranty, satisfaction or repair services.
3. Acknowledgement
3.1. The undersigned acknowledges the receipt of a copy of this repair order and is in agreement with the terms and conditions outlined herein.
